Awards and distinctions

As a club photographer there are a number of distinctions and awards that can be worked towards. One of the most popular set of distinctions are those awarded by the Royal Photographic Society. One can start with a Licentiateship (LRPS), moving on to Associateship (ARPS) and finally, Fellowship (FRPS).

Chris Shore FRPS, has achieved a major milestone this year in that he has been awarded the British Photographic Exhibitions 5 crown award for gaining 300 acceptances of his prints in National competitions.

Philip Hinton and Martin Till have also been successful in attaining their LRPS distinctions after each submitting a panel of ten prints.
