Dartford Outing

Philip Hinton writes:

Last Sunday around 11 members met at Georges place where he kindly provided us with afternoon tea and sandwiches to take with us.  Afterwards we then went on to the North side of the Dartford crossing and found parking near the church featured in the film "Four Weddings and A Funeral", it made an interesting subject as it is surrounded by large industrial buildings.  After a short stop we moved on to the river side walk where the flood walls have become a canvas for graffiti artists, with plenty of fascinating graffiti for at least a mile there was much of interest to photograph.  Walking on to get under the Queen Elizabeth bridge for sunset there were many more opportunities for photography.  The sunset did not disappoint us and the walk back did not take as long as we expected.  Many thanks to George for organizing the trip and his kind hospitality.
