Exhibition - Mystique: through the lens

Two members of Ashford Photographic Society, Philip Hinton and Doug Harman, are holding a joint exhibition "Mystique: through the lens" at the Creative Collection (16 Park Mall, Ashford, Kent TN24 8RY).

The exhibition is from the 11th April to the 24th April, and is a unique opportunity to see the contrasting work of two very talented photographers.

Philip Hinton ARPS:
As a photographer and artist, Philip strives for an original approach that combines photography and traditional art to create digital images that are unique.  Based in the Kent countryside, he finds inspiration in the landscape and the people around him; other influences come from the visual arts and music. his great passions are portrait photography and the creative blending and compositing of images.
"My work translates what I see to create a mood or atmosphere in visual form. I combine multiple images within Photoshop to create works that arise from the synthesis of the influences within my imagination.
Betsy from the Creative Collective saw some of my images and suggested I put together some of my work for this exhibition.  Knowing Doug's work she thought that we would contrast and compliment each other rather well, and as we are both club members it would be a good way to increase the clubs profile in the town."
