Marjorie Burge writes:

Alan Bousfield ARPS DPAGB BPE* of Hailsham Camera Club was the judge for our Natural History Competition. Alan has a BA in Natural History. The competition was very well supported with over sixty PDI entries and twenty-eight prints. The overall standard was very high with a good representation of local wildlife, flora and fauna with many different species of bird and butterfly shown plus many rare and exotic animals from all parts of the world captured on camera by our well travelled photographers. The surprise overall winner was a macro shot of a fly on a leaf, with the first place in prints going to a magnificent shot of a kingfisher shaking a captured fish and this also won the action award.

Prints:  1st Martin Till with Kingfisher Disabling Its Catch, 2nd Chris Rogers with Black Necked Stilt, 3rd Neil French with Juvenile Vervet Monkey.
